A woodland setting along a tidal river close to the famous Minas Basin Fossil Finds - Tidal River Ridge is home to some of the best fossil find deposits in North America
Traveling down route 209 towards the village of Advocate, the visitor can stop and enjoy such attractions as “The Age of Sail” in Port Graville, and enjoy the wonderful seascapes.
The end of this scenic drive finds you at the world famous Joggins Fossil finds a place the geological enthusiast will not want to miss.
Open year-round, “TIDAL RIVER RIDGE” offers snowmobiling, situated on Trail, 31 just 35 min. from MS trail 104; cross country skiing, 10 min. from groomed trails and on- property skiing, a large skating pond, coasting hill.

Parrsboro is only 10 min from Tidal River Ridge. This town of approx 1600 people boast 28 shops, 8 restaurants, 4 museums, a nine-hole golf course and 2 banks. This beautiful historic town was originally located at Partridge Island.
